Key Documents

A senior leader/line manager should be aware of the key exams-related documents as the individual who has responsibility for examinations within their centre. They should also be aware of these documents in the event of the absence of their exams officer

 

An exams officer should be asked to retain information, including relevant key documents, within the centre's Exams Manual to support contingency planning (if the exams officer is absent at key times during the academic year) and succession planning (if the exams officer leaves their post and the new exams officer has not been appointed in time for a handover to take place).
