Claiming the Exams Officer Professional Standards certificate

As the senior leader responsible for examinations/assessments in your centre, you can claim the Exams Officer Professional Standards certificate on behalf of your exams officer each academic year by completing the form below

 

The certificate can be claimed once you have decided that your exams officer has completed all three elements of the professional standards:

  • Obtained an adequate level of knowledge and understanding to administer examinations/assessments within your centre
  • Developed/acquired the skills required to undertake the role effectively
  • Signed - and adhered to - the Values and Attributes Statement

Once you have completed the form below to confirm achievement of the standards for the current academic year, both you and your exams officer will receive an email which contains the Exams Officer Professional Standards certificate.

This certificate should be retained within your centre Exams Manual to evidence achievement of the Exams Officer Professional Standards each academic year.
